THE SPIRIT

We begin where most spirits don’t; with whey. Through careful distillation, this ‘by-product’ of the New Zealand dairy industry becomes an exceptionally clean, silky spirit.

Lighter in footprint, it forms the foundation on which our native botanicals shine.

THE HONEY

We use a specialised cold separation technique to draw pure Mānuka honey from its wax, preserving its natural aroma and depth.

This rare honey spirit is then blended with copper-distilled native botanicals, creating a balanced liqueur that captures the essence and magic of Aotearoa. Wild, pure and unmistakably of this land.

THE BOTANICALS

Tī-Toki’s character comes from Aotearoa’s finest hand foraged botanicals.

Guided by kaitiakitanga (guardianship), our sourcing respects the forest and its keepers.
Each botanical is treated as taonga, a treasured gift. Extraction is gentle to preserve subtle flavour and aroma.

THE CREATION

Distillation, maturation, blending, and bottling happen in Hawke’s Bay under the keen eye of Master Distiller, Blair Nicholl at The National Distillery Company. The original Titoki recipe is honoured, then refined through modern technique for greater precision, consistency, purity and polish.

The result is a world class spirit.

THE VESSEL

Each limited-edition bottle is hand-formed from New Zealand clay using moulds created by renowned artist and co-owner Todd Douglas, then fired and glazed by his wife and fellow artist Karuna Douglas.

Pāua eyes by Ocean Shell Studios complete the vision, a final touch of Aotearoa’s iridescent beauty and a quiet promise that what lies within meets the mark.
